The School of University Ministries & Mission (SUMM) in Madison, WI began Jan. 4, 2010. We’re calling this our SUMM-thing blog. We’re also doing a SUMM-thing podcast, a weekly 15 minute recap discussion. Each of the students of this small learning community in this core training program for Youth With A Mission’s Campus Ministries International are charged to respond to a weekly question by midnight on Sunday. Then each participant is to respond to two other posts by Wednesday midnight. Each post should be at least 200 and no more than 300 words. Even if you are not a registered participant of this SUMM, you are welcome to visit and comment too.

Here’s what Tom Bloomer, the University of the Nations Provost says about the SUMM:

“The School of University Ministries & Mission is one of the most exciting initiatives to come up in the UofN in recent years.  My conversion was a fruit of campus ministry, and I am firmly convinced that YWAM needs to have people communicating the Good News on every campus in the world.  And the SUMM is one of the best ways to equip the new wave of workers for this strategic mission field.”
